Why is Ersatz Coffee a Ridiculous Idea?
For those that don’t know, “ersatz” means fake. Literally fake. So, calling Ersatz Coffee the real thing is 100% non-sensical. But maybe that’s the kind of absurd that you wish to embrace in your life. We like to think so.
We have a confession to make. The basic idea for Ersatz Coffee came from an easy-to-miss throwaway line in a Firesign Theatre album from the early 70s.If you know which album that is, award yourself 50 bonus points.
