The New Wave scene of the early 1980s produced some very strange bands. While this 1980s New Wave music parody, the Factory-Sealed Fornicators are actually pretty close to the reality of the British New Wave scene back then.

Fake History of the Factory-Sealed Fornicators
In the annals of fake history, The Factory-Sealed Fornicators originated in the UK in 1979. In 1982, they released their first and only album “Limited Edition Bimbo Collection.” It was universally derided for being stupid, sexist, and not exactly great New Wave music. The album failed to chart, and the band’s live tour was cancelled.
After much internal strife, arrogant singer Lars Gunblade left the Factory-Sealed Fornicators, taking all of the band’s amps and equipment. He would later form “The No Talent Ass Clowns” an American heavy metal band. In the new band, he pretended to be from New Jersey rather than his native Chelsea in the UK. Gunblade vanished from public view several years ago. Gunblade recently remarked to a journalist that calling this a 1980s New Wave music parody is in bad taste.
